  1. Id like to see him use that shot more. He seemed to look a loittle too much to pass when he had a shooting lane. I think he will be fine though next year.
I definitely had my doubts about him when it was first said he would be in the lineup, but he definitely showed that he belonged. I know his defensive game will need to grow but I hope that focus doesn't take away from his need to be more confident in his offensive game.
I don't think it's a matter of if he could; it's when he could.
And to be honest, I don't think it's gonna take long at all. I think he could walk into camp next year and be ready to go out and drop 25-30 goals.
Was suprisingly happy to see him also able to throw the body around a bit.
He seemed to be getting "stronger" throughout the playoffs.
At 6"3" 230 he freightrained Clarckson and a few other guys.
I watched the game with my buddy, we both had the same opinion...Kreider was the only player on the team capable of taking a dangerous shot that produced a rebound worth going for.
Every other shot was right at the goalie, or was easily kicked/sticked to the corner. Marty looked like he actually had trouble with Kreider's shot.

I think we have to remember that he is going to have struggles. He was running on pure adrenaline in the games he played, this is not going to happen over night.
    Patience is a virtue.

Actually he was as "subdued" as i've ever seen him skate.
Not wanting to make mistakes was his primary sense it appeared.
I think we only saw glimpses of what he will bring next season.

So, after watching this kid for a while....how good can he be in the future?
He appears to be a threat most times he's on the ice. Very excited to see what he can do when playing teams 1 time, rather then the systems and grind of a playoff series.
I wouldn't doubt it one bit if he's in the hunt for rookie of the year nomination next season.

It'd certainly be a pretty awesome achievement, but I'll take what I can get here.
IF we get past the Devils (and yeah, I know in my heart of hearts we will, but we're going to make it interesting because as I've said a million times before - put this team in a whorehouse with a fistful of hundreds and they'll start buying drinks and making small talk) - what waits for us in the Cup Final is either a Kings team that has steamrolled everything in its path since April 10, or a Coyotes team that has just rebounded from the edge of the sporting world.

Or, as I like to put it, an overconfident Kings team due to have their ass handed to them, or a Coyotes team that just shot their load.
