The Rangers won their sixth game in a row this afternoon, beating the Edmonton Oilers 4-2, but it didn’t come without a price: Jimmy Vesey‘s teeth!
One word: ouch!
To make matters worse, not only did he have his teeth kicked out—literally—but according to his Instagram post, they were lodged in his front lip!
Early in the second period, Vesey went tumbling to the ice during a puck battle with Zack Kassian and ate a face full of Kassian’s skate as they hit the ice. He’d leave the game, bleeding from the mouth, and missed the remainder of the period. He did return for the third, though, albeit wearing a full face shield.
